Trying to use the philosophy ‘less is more’, we tried to minimize the amount of baby items in the house in the beginning, only getting items as we needed them. We had a crib on the way from Sheila’s daughter’s home where it has successfully rocked generations of babies to bed, but it wasn’t at our home just yet. In the interim we used this plastic bin from an IKEA push cart that once held my art supplies.
This worked beautifully for the first week, being both portable and see-through, it was the ideal bassinet. Unfortunately, after the second week she outgrew it.
