At bed time, Indy selected for reading one of the Berenstain Bears books in our collection, which we have always (rightly or wrongly) pronounced as “Berensteen Bears.”
After looking through the first few pages, she decided that the Papa was named “Bear.” So the Mama must be “Steen.” She had apparently thought that the name of the book series was “Bear N’ Steen Bears.”
