Indy swiped my crudites and used them as gnawing sticks. The carrot looked like the end of a pencil after an SAT test, the celery suffered an even sadder fate.
Not an avocado
That’s not a fruit or vegetable in Indy’s hands, it’s a pumice stone. And she licked it.

Signing for food
[wpvideo 4BdaRdbE]
I’ve been signing with Indy about a dozen signs since the 4th month. The first one to be signed back was milk – but now Indy thinks all food is “milk”.
We’ll keep working on it – but I do think it’s pretty clever of her, after all, it is indeed food.
Standing
July 3rd I was writing an email on my phone, when I looked up, Indy was standing. I quickly snapped this photo as she tested out only using one hand, then the other.
We’ve seen her standing before and since then, but we’re unsure if she pulls herself up with her arms or uses her legs to push up.
