Labor Day: as a kid, it was the official last day of summer, the last day the local water parks and pools were open. Today we lived up that last day and went to near-by Stoner Water Park. Too bad the water was ice cold, munchkin didn’t have nearly the fun she normally does swimming.
On our way out we paid a visit to the ice cream man and drove home for a family BBQ. It was the perfect end to a long weekend, and the summer. I feel like tomorrow school starts.

I feel like school starts tomorrow too, I don’t want to go to work baaa
Sunday Indy and I went over to Jeri’s and had a playdate. We swam, went to the park, ended the evening at sundown back in the jacuzzi – it was warm out all day, but not sweltering. The girls got to play and swim and mommies got to relax and catch up. It was a picture-perfect weekend.
