Hot Wheels
A few weeks ago I took Indy to Toys R Us and she found the car isle. She test drive each car at least twice. This convertible was one of her favorites.
New Sentence Structures
Indy’s so great. She’s been cracking us up with her new sentences.
I was doing sign language last night while she thumbed through books with daddy and she said “what it means mommy?” And today she said “I wanna take a shower with mommy”. Pretty sophisticated stuff!
Oh, and we love her new “come with me” signal – it’s the reverse of waving someone toward you, so it looks like she is doing some sort of bow.
🙂
Too Spicy!
Indy had a sip of an effervescent beverage this weekend for the first time. Hilarity ensued. She immediately grabbed her cheeks and started to giggle, saying, “It’s too spicy!” over and over. There is a video of her having a sip of Coke. “It’s good.” We’ll try to upload it when we get a chance.
I love seeing the world through her eyes and experiences – and limited vocabulary. It really is a funny world.
First Taste of Ketchup
Indy and I enjoyed an evening at the beach together while daddy went to a football game. We played in the water and (un)built castles together.
After, we split a veggie burger and a side of fries by the boardwalk and watched the sun go down. She kept saying “the sun is coming down!” It was the best $17 spent that I can remember.
Also, she’s discovered a new favorite thing besides “special brown sauce” (Nutella). Ketchup. Or, “special red dip sauce.” Daddy would be proud.
Fake Cries
Indy occasionally tries her fake cries on me when she doesn’t get her way. It doesn’t work. (Not the fake ones anyway…)
Just Love her Smiles!
Indy adores taking photos and waving to the other Indy she sees reflected in the phone. I can’t get enough, it is so cute!
