All Things Indy

Our dwarf lemon tree is in its second year and it’s a giver! Our second harvest of the season was a doozy!

For Indy’s 5th birthday, we took her for her first trip to Disneyland.  Among the many rides that she enjoyed was the rollercoaster known as Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Her first time on a rollercoaster, she was already asking, “Can we go on it again?” before the ride was halfway over.

She would end up going on it again the next day.  She also rode the Matterhorn twice.  For the record, Daddy did not go on any of those rides.  Clearly the rollercoaster gene comes from Mommy’s side.

Indy and a Brooklyn were treated to a fun-filled afternoon: we took a train in to downtown to see a live performance of the Octonauts!

Indy tried her hand at some block printing techniques while at the annual printer’s fair. 

Indy’s got a second row of teeth pushing through while her baby teeth are still hanging tight. Shark teeth! 

Indy told me to “Hold that in your mind” as she interrupted my conversation tonight. 

INDY: I just whispered to my brain that I want to marry Cheetos.

Indy was eating crackers and trying to chomp them into interesting shapes, having us guess what they are supposed to be.

INDY: What does this one look like?

DADDY: New Hampshire

MOMMY: A present

INDY: You are both right. It’s a present, and the present is a new hamster.
