Chin Lift and Stowaways
Just back from a weekend at the grandparents house where the town was hosting a Mountain Festival. We paid our dues, visted a quilt show, ate a giant bag of kettle corn and ho-hum BBQ, and then swiftly moved on.
Grandma gave George (the sleeping bag) a chin tuck since he’s seen a lot of wear and tear since Christmas and fixed a few other animals while she was at it. 
When we got home I noticed some gravel at the bottom of the bag as stowaways. Indy said they were grandpas favorite rocks. 
Misheard Lyrics
Indy asked if we could play “go candy go!” one evening in the backyard. Having no idea which made up game this might be, I asked for more clarification. “You know, you hold up this stick (3′ stick) and I walk under it and you say ‘go candy go’!”
Ohhh…. “How low can you go!” It’s limbo time!
Pirate
I drew this one day with Indy and she colored it, calling her a pirate. Now she’s a paper doll and I have to make the pirate voice and we all go looking for treasure together! Arg matey!
Kite Making
Indy and Silvie made this kite together on the last week Silvie was in town. She looks happy!
